THE PURPOSE OF THE JOB:

To assist the Electrical Engineer in various activities such as evaluation of electrical systems, safety measures and check for efficiency and feasibility of new installations, as well as Capital and Running Budgets in an effective way to ensure the execution of short, medium and long-term electrical infrastructure plans of the Erongo RED in order to render a professional services to the community.

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:

• National Diploma (Heavy Current)

PREFERRED QUALIFICATION:

• B-Tech (Heavy Current)

KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS:

• Conduct Financial Analysis budgeting and forecasting

• Stakeholder Engagement & Satisfaction (Internal & External)

• Plan Electrical Project and Electrical Infrastructure

• Management of Projects

• Bulk Consumers / Load Management

• Administrative Duties with regard to Network Engineering Business Unit

• Network Modelling

• Personal Development and Growth

• People & Performance Management

PROFESSIONAL REGISTRATION

• Registration with the Engineering Council of Namibia

EXPERIENCE:

• Four (4) years practical experience in an Electrical environment

LICENSE REQUIRED:

• Code B Drivers Licence
