The Game Products Trust Fund (GPTF)
The Game Products Trust Fund (GPTF) is inviting applications from qualified and experienced individuals (Namibian nationals) to apply for the following positions:
POST 2: GRANTS AND PROGRAMMES OFFICER C3

The primary purpose of Grants and Programmes Officer is to manage the entire grant lifecycle by evaluating proposals, ensuring compliance, overseeing grant implementation, providing clear reporting, fostering strategic partnerships, and staying updated on industry trends to maximize the impact of grant-funded projects.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Review all grant applications and proposals submitted to the GPTF
-
Conduct due diligence and research on potential grantees to assess their eligibility and project plans to meet GPTF objectives.

Work closely with internal teams to evaluate grant requests and make funding recommendations
-
Manage & manage grant agreements and ensure compliance with funding guidelines and regulations
-
Monitor grant progress and expenditures and provide technical assistance and support to grantees as needed
-
Ensure accurate records of grant disbursements, budgets, and outcomes
-
Prepare reports on grant projects and project activities for internal and external stakeholders
-
Serve as the major focal point & focal programmes in identifying opportunities for strategic partnerships and collaborations
-
Contribute to the process of developing resource mobilization proposals
-
Assist the GPTF in staying informed about new trends and best practices in grant-making
-

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
-
-
-
Bachelor’s degree in Natural Resources/Environment, Resource Management/Rangeland Management, Business Administration, Project Finance, non-profit management, or public administration on NQF Level 7.
-
Proven three (3) years of working experience in grant-making administration, community projects (proof should be in a form of a reference letter which must be attached).

Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages

The GPTF will offer a total-cost-to-company remuneration and benefits package with Medical Aid, 13th Cheque, Pension, and Social Security Contributions
