The Game Products Trust Fund (GPTF)
The Game Products Trust Fund (GPTF) is inviting applications from qualified and experienced individuals (Namibian nationals) to apply for the following positions:
POST 1: MONITORING AND EVALUATION OFFICER C4 (RE-ADVERTISEMENT)

A Monitoring and Evaluation Officer’s primary purpose is to design, implement, and manage M&E systems, analyze data, ensure compliance with safeguards, and provide capacity building, with the aim to enhance project performance and impact.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Develop and implement M&E frameworks, policies, & procedures for grants & programs
-
Design, test, refine, and set up the project M&E plan and its activities matrix during the inception phase
-
Establish a data storage and reporting system for tracking progress and challenges
-
Coordinate the development of logical frameworks and work plans for the organization
-
Conduct & and analyze data collection activities
-
Collate and collate data from the field and through participatory evaluation sessions
-
Ensure the functionality of the project M&E systems including data relevance, feasibility, and usefulness
-
Evaluate data, highlight progress and challenges, and consolidate findings into reports
-
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual reports on projects, special programs, and grant programs
-
Ensure compliance with ethical standards, data privacy regulations, and organizational policies in M&E activities
-
Present progress reports to Senior Management and develop standardized reporting formats

Manage training to GPTF staff and grantees on M&E concepts and tools
-
Facilitate learning and knowledge-sharing sessions to capture best practices and lessons learned
-
Collaborate with stakeholders, including donors, government agencies, and community partners to align M&E efforts
-
Update GPTF website as required

Collaborate with the GPTF Annual Activity Report

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
-
-
Honours Degree in Natural Resources/Environment, Resource Management, Developmental Studies, Climate Change and Water related fields (or is not a graduate Diploma in Project Management) or a Master’s degree will be an added advantage.

Proven three (3) years of working experience in Monitoring and Evaluation (proof should be in a form of a reference letter that must be attached).

Past experience in doing baseline studies/research in the socio-economic and environmental organizations will be an added advantage.

Familiarity with M&E frameworks especially under Namibian Environmental Management Act and the Environmental Performance Corporation’s (IFC/ESS performance standards).

Good working knowledge of MS Office packages
