Applications are hereby invited from Namibian citizens, for appointment in the following vacancy:
VEHICLE FLEET COORDINATOR
(Paterson C3 Band)
Remuneration and Benefits: Minimum (N$311,932.00 PA)
Market related salary package, Medical Aid, Pension Fund, Housing Allowance/Subsidy, Transport allowance, 35 m3 free water per month and 20 statutory annual leave days & 12 gratuity bonus leave days leave per annum.
Main purpose of the job: Primarily focuses on coordinating all facets of the vehicle fleet activities of the Swakopmund Municipality, such as acquisition, assignment, utilization, maintenance, repair, replacement and disposal of fleet vehicles, fuel consumption, driver safety, and regulatory compliance.
Minimum Requirements:
Tertiary Qualification

Degree in Logistics, or Supply Chain Management, or Business Administration or related (appropriate) field at NQF level: 7.

Advantage will be certification in Fleet Management Software, GPS tracking systems, vehicle maintenance schedules and relevant compliance regulations.

Experience using Event Management System (EMS) e.g: Fleet Management System
Experience required

Three (3) years working in the transportation / vehicle fleet management industry.

Legal/ professional requirement/ licences
-
Code B driver’s licence.
Key performance areas: Responsible for coordinating the Municipal Fleet Management System; Budget and replacement; Fleet maintenance (vehicles, machines, earth moving equipment, trucks, lawn movers, pumps, power generators, etc); Proxy duties; Coordinate subordinate activities and Occupational Health and Safety Management.
