Requirements:

• • Grade 12

  • A good understanding of the operations of a cut shop

  • Must be able to plan and schedule own work and contractors’ work

  • Must have 5 – 10 years working experience in a production/ retail/ operations environment

  • Knowledge and experience of the Babbage (Kerridge) system will be an advantage

Duties:

• • Coordinate the IBT of stock from the Namibia Trade Distribution Centre to ensure stock levels are correct to support the store

  • Schedule production of cuttings to ensure shortest possible lead time and work with the sales team to achieve this

  • Ensure highest quality of product is supplied from the cut shop

  • Co-ordinate supply to customers of cuttings and hardware with the Dispatch Supervisor

  • Take responsibility for overall stock management of board and top products

  • Production by managing the contractor who supply cutting services

  • Manage utilisation of equipment to limit breakage and damages, arrange schedule services and maintenance
