Database Manager/Administrator & GIS

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and maintain exploration and geological databases – this responsibility to come progressively, while working closely with the present Database Manager.

• Provide GIS support, including spatial data management, map generation and illustration diagrams generation (for reporting).

• Produce high-quality technical reports and maintain clear documentation for internal and external stakeholders.

• Coordinate with exploration teams to ensure timely data capture, validation, and reporting.

• Maintain robust QA/QC protocols for geological and geochemical datasets, including data validation routines, analytical controls, and error tracking systems, to ensure data reliability and compliance with industry best practices.

• Travel to field sites as required to support data workflows and field teams.

• Provide ongoing mentorship and training to the present data capture team.

Required Qualifications and Skills:

• Degree in Geology or related Earth Sciences field.

• Proven experience with Datas_hed and Log_Chief database platform at administrator role level.

• Solid working knowledge of GIS systems (QGIS).

• Strong analytical, reporting, and technical writing skills in English.

• Demonstrated ability to work both independently and collaboratively with remote teams.

• Willingness to travel regularly.

• Minimum 6 years experience in database management, 8 years total as a professional geoscientist
