Johanniter Hostel (Johanniter Heime Khoaeb) in Otavi is seeking a dedicated Management Couple to join our team from January 2026. Help provide structure, care, and guidance to children in a supportive community.

Minimum Criteria

• Ages 40+
• Namibian citizens
• No dependants
• Own transport and valid driver’s licence
• Solid track record and good conduct
• Teaching/childcare qualification or experience is an advantage

Key Responsibilities & Qualities (Together as a Couple)

• Lead day-to-day hostel operations with strong management and computer skills
• Foster positive, respectful relationships with children and staff
• Liaise professionally with parents, guests, sponsors, and stakeholders
• Handle parents’ concerns and complaints constructively and promptly
• Plan and implement age-appropriate activities for children
• Prepare and submit clear month-end reports to the committee
• Demonstrate excellent administration, organisation, and interpersonal skills
• Work irregular hours when needed; be reliable and hands-on
• Operate effectively both as a team and independently
