MINING TEAM LEADER – LEWCOR

VACANCY 

We are offering a full-time position to an experienced and dedicated person to join our team. The position is based at the ROSSING PROJECT.

Minimum Requirements:

* Grade 12/National Senior Certificate.
* 3-5 years’ mining experience, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
* Valid Code 08 or higher driver’s license.
* Valid operator’s permit for equipment (e.g., Excavator, Rigid Haul Truck, Dozer, ADT).
* Basic computer literacy.
* Certificate in mining supervision (advantageous)
* Strong leadership and communication abilities.
* Excellent time management and attention to detail.
* Solid knowledge of mining operations and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

* Lead and supervise mining crews to ensure daily production targets are achieved safely, efficiently, and in line with project requirements.
* Coordinate and allocate tasks to team members based on operational priorities, skills, and equipment capabilities.
* Monitor equipment operation and performance, ensuring proactive maintenance, and adherence to operating procedures.
* Enforce compliance with safety regulations, company policies, and statutory requirements to maintain a safe working environment.
* Train, mentor, and develop team members, ensuring high performance, skills growth, and adherence to best practices.
