VACANCY:

CHARCOAL PRODUCTION SITE IT’S POSSIBLE

POSITION PURPOSE / GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES

* Assist in the development, implementation and maintenance of laid charcoal production procedures and production standards
* Responsibilities include: Evaluation, the application of corrective measures relating to production to ensure optimum functionality, efficiencies and quality management within the scope of charcoal production work
* Supervise shift staff and activities
* Enforce Health and Safety regulations on Site
* Monitor equipment and materials
* Maintain accurate production and labor records
* Liaise with Management on performance and site needs
* Train and guide employees on best practices in charcoal production

EXPERIENCE / KNOWLEDGE / REQUIREMENTS

* Ability to deal with problems
* Strong leadership skills
* Ability to speak effectively before groups and employees
* Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
* Basic Math skills
* Fluent in English, while other local languages will be an added advantage
* Coded licenses for heavy equipment
* General understanding of production targets
* 2-3 years of relevant experience
* Previous experience in charcoal production will be an added advantage
