FP du Toit Transport Group, established in 1968, has evolved from a long-haul operation to include Jet.X Couriers (express road and air courier service), Pro Parcel (part-load and distribution), and Wesbank Transport (cross-border and national transport). Their strategy is to provide comprehensive logistics solutions.

• Reports to the Depot Manager

• Based in Johannesburg

Duties and Responsibilities

• Serve as the first point of customer contact; deliver prompt, effective customer service.

• Answer and direct calls and queries to appropriate departments and staff.

• Communicate with customers via phone and/or email about deliveries, delays, collections.

• Assist clients with quotations as needed.

• Follow up on collections (international and national); liaise with clients and departmental heads.

• Assist with walk-in customers.

• Compile a daily Pick Up and Delivery report; submit to CSD Coordinator.

• Communicate with clearing agents regarding outstanding documents.

• Undertake other duties aligned with a Customer Service Agent’s responsibilities.

Requirements for Applicants

• South African Citizenship

• Valid Grade 12 (with at least 23 points)

• 2–3 years’ customer service experience

• Knowledge of border clearances and documentation for Imports/Exports

• High level of accuracy and attention to detail

• Good problem-solving skills

• Effective verbal and written communication skills

• Excellent organizational skills (multi-tasking and meeting deadlines)

• Professional and confident attitude

• Strong interpersonal skills

• No criminal record
