FLATBED DRIVER – Wesbank Transport

VACANCY 

Key Performance Areas

• Transport and timely delivery of containers and breakbulk to various customers within Namibia, submitting complete documentation upon return.

• Collect containers and breakbulk from various customers, delivering without damages and with correct documents to the instructed destination.

• Responsible for cargo, ensuring goods and equipment are handled to avoid damage.

• Pre-trip inspections of vehicle and equipment, reporting defects to the supervisor immediately.

• Complete daily timesheets and MDC Logbook as instructed.

• Perform other duties as requested and reasonably expected from a Flatbed Driver.

Candidate Requirements

• Namibian Citizen with a valid (Code CE) driver’s license and valid PDP (Dangerous Goods).

• Grade 12 with a minimum of 5 years’ relevant experience in the transport industry.

• Police Clearance (not older than 3 months) – No criminal record.

• Hazchem Certification will be an added advantage.

• Excellent driving, interpersonal, and communication skills (English and Afrikaans).

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• High attention to detail.

• Must have sober habits.
