Key Performance Areas

• Perform daily pre-operation inspection of the Forklift / Reach Stacker.

• Ensure Forklift / Reach Stacker is clean (daily).

• Confirm Forklift / Reach Stacker is right for the job.

• Conduct risk assessments and analysis.

• Complete pre-trip checklist; ensure equipment is in proper working condition before starting scheduled jobs.

• Conduct route analysis.

• Report all accidents/incidents to supervisor immediately.

• Complete tasks safely and effectively.

• Stop the job and report to supervisor if not satisfied with safety requirements.

• Operators qualified on a 30 Ton forklift may operate all smaller category forklifts as instructed.

• Carry out additional duties as may be requested by management from time to time.

Candidate Requirements

• Namibian Citizen.

• Valid CE license, with Forklift and Reach Stacker licence and operating card.

• Minimum 5 years’ experience as a Forklift and Reach Stacker Operator.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (English and Afrikaans).

• Ability to work independently and in a team.

• High attention to detail.

• Sober habits.

• Valid Code of Conduct Certificate (not older than 3 months).
