POSITION PURPOSE / GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES

• Oversee daily plant operations, ensuring efficiency, safety, and quality across all functions.

• Demonstrate basic technical competency in welding, electrical systems, and mechanical processes to effectively support and guide the team.

• Plan, allocate, and monitor tasks, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.

• Enforce health, safety, and housekeeping standards, maintaining a clean and compliant work environment.

• Identify and resolve technical issues as they arise, minimizing operational disruptions.

• Manage maintenance activities, ensuring reliable performance of plant machinery and equipment.

• Mentor and supervise staff, fostering accountability, professional development, and teamwork.

• Maintain rigorous quality control throughout production processes to ensure output meets required standards.

• Conduct routine inspections and audits to proactively identify areas for improvement.

• Provide clear communication to senior management, including progress reports and incident updates.

• Lead by example – be firm but fair, committed, and always ready to step in where needed.

EXPERIENCE / KNOWLEDGE / REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum of 5 years of management experience in the oil and gas or energy sector

• Knowledge in Waste Management & Recycling; Marine & Industrial cleaning and Industrial Fuels & Energy Products

• Proven ability to lead teams, manage budgets, and implement strategic plans

• Excellent communication, negotiation, and decision-making skills

• Strong understanding of industry standards, regulations and safety protocols
