INTRODUCTION

In a bold step toward gender equality in the transport industry, NARETU Union in collaboration with one of the local company is proud to launch a dedicated initiative aimed at increasing women’s participation in truck driving, a field traditionally dominated by men. We have secured 10 employment opportunities to motivated and committed women to join the workforce as Professional Truck Drivers.

POSITION OVERVIEW

This opportunity is ideal for women who are passionate about logistics, eager to break barriers, and ready to build a rewarding career on the road. Successful candidates will receive a Transportation of Dangerous Goods training course sponsored by the employer.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Long distance and cross border driving

• Willingness to undergo employer sponsored training in Dangerous Goods Training

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

• Female

• Namibian citizen

• CE Driving Licence

• Fluency in English and / Afrikaans will be an added advantage
