TYRE FITTER – Tiger Wheel & Tyre

VACANCY

Core Purpose & Key Responsibilities:

* Knowledge of tyre balancing and puncture repairs
* Product knowledge and defect identification
* Correctly lift motor vehicle
* Utilise correct tools for the job
* Correctly fit tyres to rim
* Report any defects to the Branch Manager e.g., studs, washers, and wheel nuts
* Inflate tyres according to manufacturer’s specifications
* Apply safety standards
* Torque wheel nuts to manufactures specifications
* Receive customers in a friendly manner and with a smile

Experience Required:

* Good interpersonal skills
* High level of accuracy
* Effective communication skills and ability to work as a team
* Ability to work with clients
* Ability to work under pressure and have great attention to detail
* A minimum of 1 year experience as a tyre technician OR have the ability to be a fast and trainable learner

Minimum Requirements:

* Grade 12 (Matric).
* Valid Driver’s License.
