The Namibia Rugby Union (NRU) is offering an exciting High-Performance Internship opportunity for passionate and driven individuals looking to develop a career in professional sport.

We are currently inviting applications for the following internship roles:

1. Video Analyst Intern

2. Strength and Conditioning Intern

These internships provide a unique opportunity to shadow and work closely with the NRU’s High Performance (HP) team in a dynamic rugby environment. Interns will gain practical, hands-on experience supporting the National Team’s preparation and performance, with mentorship from experienced coaches and performance staff.

Key Highlights:

•Work alongside experienced HP staff and coaches. Gain practical exposure to elite training, preparation, and performance environments.

•Assist with performance monitoring, athlete management, and analytical processes.

•Support the build-up to key national and international competitions, including preparations toward the Rugby World Cup qualification pathway.

Eligibility:

This opportunity is ideal for:

•Recent graduates or final-year students in Sports Science, Biokinetics, Performance Analysis, or related fields.

•Individuals with a keen interest in high-performance sport and rugby.
