We are a small construction and renovations company seeking a reliable and experienced Construction & Renovations Manager to lead and oversee daily operations. If you have a strong background in construction, team leadership, and safety compliance, we want to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities:
•Oversee and manage construction and renovation projects from start to finish.
•Supervise and coordinate a full team of construction employees.
•Ensure projects are completed on time, within scope, and within budget.
•Maintain strict adherence to Safety, Health, and Environmental (SHE) regulations.
•Perform quality checks and ensure high standards of workmanship.
•Liaise with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors as required.
•Maintain detailed records and progress reports.
•Provide cost estimates to clients timely.
•Resolve any on-site issues or delays independently.
•Ensure tools and equipment are properly maintained and used.
Minimum Requirements:
•Proven experience in the construction or renovations industry (supervisory experience preferred).
•Strong knowledge of SHE practices and compliance.
•Fluent in English (Afrikaans will be an added advantage).
•Previous experience with Pastel Sage software will be an advantage.
•Ability to work independently and take initiative.
•Strong organizational and leadership skills.
•Must have own reliable transport.
•Must be a resident of Oranjemund or willing to relocate.
•Physically fit and willing to work on-site as needed with sober habits.
