Purpose of Position
The Chui Executive Officer (CEO) Is response*, together w*h the NQA Council and Management, to provide overall strategic leadersnp. management administration, pcécy coordination, and compliance to ensure the effective governance end cparaticnel excellence of the NQA. The CEO «1 strategically lead the NQA in alignment with its statutory mandate, vision, and mission by defining and commuracatng sítatele goals and overseeng the* execution. Adtktionaty, the CEO ml drive institutknel end cultural transfomatKn. ensuring that ragUebons end policies ere effectively implemented and adhaad to across the metitution.
Key Accountabiktie*
- Provides overall strategic direction fa the NQA by leering the formulation, execution, end evaluation ci pekoes and initiatives to achieve the institution’s visun. mission, and mandate.
- Upholds legal, reguatay. and governance frameworks while maintairing corpaate integrity, transparency, end accountability standards.
- Oversees NQA’s financial planning, budgeting, end resource allocation to ensure long-term financial susta«wbi<y and operational efficiency.
- Establishes and maintains strong relationships with key stakeholders including government entities, regulatory bodies, oxlustry partners, end enternetionai counterparts.
- Oversees the timely preparation and submission of reports on strategic and operational performance, financial management, and regulatory compliance
Provides leadersivp across an functional areas, ensuing the effective execution of NQAs mandate and strategic objectives.
Oversees the effective utilisation. maintenance. and safeguarding ci NQAs assets, infrastructure, and equ(<nent to si^port operational efficiency.
Leads the preparation, management, and monitoring of budgets to align with strategic priorities and ensure prudent financial management.

Education and years of Experience
- Arecogmsed quafcftcatlon* Educate*. Trainng.Pubic Admimstratlon, or another relevant few at NQF level 9
- A recognised qualification at NQF Level 10 wit be an advantage.
- A Minimum of ten (10) years of senior management experience, of which rive (5) years must have been at the executive management level
- Experience n the field of quality assurance in education and training would be an advantage.
