IMPROVEMENT OF THE EDUCATION REFORM STRATEGY

The Government of the Republic of Namibia through the Ministry of Education. Arts and Culture (MoEAC) has been tasked by Cabinet to take the lead for the Implementation Plan for the Education and Training Sector Reform Strategy with the aim to transform education sector m the country towards inclusion and quality in the context of current global challenges and beyond. An Implementation Plan has been developed, over a period of 7 years which started on the 1* March 2023 and expected to end by 31 March 2029. The Ministry of Education. Arts and Culture as the executing agency has establish a Project Implementation Unit (PIU) independent from its mainstream organizational structure to serve as the relevant management structure for the day to day management and implementation of the National Conference on Education(NCE) Implementation. The PIU therefore intends to appoint a project monitoring and evaluation officer responsible for the project monitoring and evaluation activities.

The Government of Namibia through the Ministry of Education. Arts and Culture now invite expression of interest by an eligible Monitoring and Evaluation officer to ensure the quality and adequacy of the project monitoring and evaluation activities In the process of implementation objectives. Interested Monitoring & Evaluation Officer must provide clear information on their experience and expertise with respect to the assignment (CV. references of similar services demonstrating that they are qualified, description of their experiences and tasks in similar assignments and availability).

Eligibility criteria, establishment of the short-list and the selection procedure shall conform with the Pubic Service Regulations, Policies and Procedures as per Public Service Act. 1995 (Act No. 13 of 1995) which is available on the government website httpV/www.eservioe net local The Ministry of Education, Arts and Culture are under no obligation to shortlist any consultant who expresses interest.
