The Microfinance Academy’s Microfinance Development Program
supports individuals in starting, launching and growing
microlending businesses by offering education on legislation and
business practices, regulatory compliance, on-the-job training,
mentorship, and funding opportunities.

We are excited to announce that applications for the 202S
cohort is now open!

Upon successful completion, wo will assist applicants with business
registration at BiPA and Namt is A Participants will also be invited to a Demo
Day (presentation to investors), and the top 12 performers will receive seed
funding from the Microfinance Academy to help start their business (terms

time or part time).

Requirements

Namibian citizens only
– Grade 12
– No criminal record
Computer literate (access to internet and PC required)
Women, people with disabilities, and rural residents ore encouraged to apply
This cohort Is limited to 50 individuals, with training materials provided. Start date: 3
March 2025
