ONGOPOLO MINING LIMITED is a mining, development, and exploration company specializing in copper mining in Namibia. The company is seeking suitably qualified candidates for various positions available at its Central Operations (Otjihase/ Matchless Mines), located 35 km outside Windhoek. With plans to restart operations, the company aims to fill positions in the Engineering Department at its Central Operations.

ROLE PURPOSE:

Reporting to the Foreman, the Telehandler Operator will safely operate telehandler machines to support underground mining activities.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Operate telehandler machines to lift workers and equipment.
• Assist with repairs, installation, and transporting explosives.
• Conduct machine checks and report damages.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

• Grade 10 with an E in English.
• Certified training in telescopic forklift and forklift.

Minimum of 2 years experience with at least 1 year in underground mining.

Code C driver’s license.
