Key Performance Areas:
To lead the deck department in maintenance and safety activities and ensure the safe navigation of the ship during watchkeeping.
Education and Expenence Requirements:
- S4 Higher National Diploma in Maritime Studies
- A Valid STCW 95 Deck Officer Class 2 Chief Navigating Officer Certificate of Competency
- GMDSS Certificate
- Valid Ancillary courses
- Five (5) years relevant expet fence as Offi cer of a Navigational Watch. preferaW y with some experience
on a production/prospecting vessel
Preference win be given to Namibian citizens and designated persons as prescribed by the Namibian Affirmative Action Act WOMEN ARE ENCOURAGED TO apply
