Job description

• Design electrical circuits, systems, and equipment to meet technical specifications and regulatory standards.
• Createdetailedelectrical schematics and layout plansusing industry-standard CAD tools.
• Evaluate and recommend electrical components and systems based on performance, cost, and compatibility.
• Conduct testing of electrical systems and equipment to ensure proper functionality and safety.
• Analyze and troubleshoot electrical systems, identifying issues and implementing corrective actions.
• Lead or participate in projects, collaborating with other engineering disciplines, suppliers, and contractors.
• Develop project timelines, deliverables, and budgets, ensuring that all deadlines are met.
• Maintain clear and accurate documentation for all electrical design and testing activities.
• Ensure designscomplywith local, national, andinternational electrical codes, safety standards, and regulations.
• Perform risk assessments to identify potential hazards in electrical systems and recommend mitigation measures.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in electrical engineering technologies and industry trends.
• Identify opportunities for system improvements or cost reductions in existing projects.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams, including mechanical engineers, project managers, and production teams, to ensure the success of projects.
• Provide technical support to other departments, including troubleshooting electrical issues and recommending solutions.

Requirements

• Diploma in electrical engineering or a related field
• Degree will be added in advance.
• 8 years of working experience as a Electrical engineering
• Experience in multi-story building construction and experience in working for large projects costing over N$200 million.
