Short Courses

NAMCOL is offering the training opportunities for short courses (up to 6 weeks) to the members of the public in the following TVET trades:

• Plumbing and Pipe Fitting
• Auto Mechanic
• Welding and Metal Fabrication

The aim of the programme is to empower the trainees with technical know-how and skills in the selected trade. The training in the above listed trades is provided in Windhoek only.

Who may apply

The target groups for these short courses are members of the public who want to upgrade or acquire technical knowledge and skills in the above- listedtrades. These include unqualified artisans home courses and any interested members of the public.

Please note

Application Forms are available on NAMCOL’s website, at NAMCOL Head Office, Regional and Sub-regional Offices. A completed application form should be hand delivered at NAMCOL Head Office or Regional/ Sub-regional Offices.

Training duration

Basic Courses -1 month Advanced Courses – 6 Weeks

Training is conducted Monday – Thursday for 2 hours, 17H30- 19H30 and Saturday from 09H00-12H00.
