NOLNet invites suitable candidates to apply for the position of:
JOB PURPOSE
The Executive Secretary manages the work of the NOLNet Secretariat, which investigates, advises and carries out the decisions of the Board of Trustees, under the supervision of the NOLNet Management Committee. Furthermore, the Executive Secretary is responsible for liaising with the Ministries and Partner Institutions on all matters relating to Open and Distance Learning. The post will involve considerable travel within Namibia in order to liaise with staff at regional centres affiliated with NOLNet, as well as promoting and monitoring the use of facilities by ODL students.

CANDIDATE PROFILE:
⦁ A self-starter and team player with excellent communication skills;
⦁ Good administrative skills;
⦁ Analytical, interpersonal and organisational skills;
⦁ Assertive, creative and innovative;
⦁ Candidate should be pro-active and able to work independently
REOUIREMENTS
⦁ Honours degree in Educational or a related field; Master’s Degree will be an added advantage
⦁ 4 years’ experience in Open and Distance Learning
⦁ A code BE Drivers Licence valid in Namibia
