The successful candidate will have the opportunity to gain valuable experience in various aspects that form part of Security Management. The Ideal Applicant
- Bachelor’s Degree in Forensic Science, Risk and or Security Management, or a related field.
- Good written and verbal communication skills, with attention to detail and familiarity with report writing.
- Valid Code 08/ B driver’s license (manual transmission).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Ability to observe and maintain situational awareness.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment, with good time management and organizational skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities and deadlines.
- Keen to stay informed about emerging technologies relating to Security Management.
- Fit to work in harsh conditions.

Job Specific Competencies
- Conduct searches and spot checks on persons and vehicles entering and exiting all access control points.
- Assists in conducting Security Inductions.
- Assist with plant assessments to highlight gravel spillages in high-risk areas of production, sampling and recovery plants.
- Conducting patrols to ensure the integrity of perimeters, critical facilities and production sites.
- Execution of surveillance, conducting camera checks and report incidents.
- Administrative Support: Provide general administrative support to the Security Department.
- Interpersonal Skills: Good interpersonal skills that support building relationships with colleagues and internal/external stakeholders.
- Perform risk assessments, Root Cause Analysis and Diamond Control Assessments.
