The Challenge

Namdeb (Pty) Ltd has an opportunity available for a Supply Chain Intern in the company’s Supply Chain Section. The successful candidate will be exposed to an extensive training program of all   disciplines within the Supply Chain environment. This is an excellent opportunity for disciplined, energetic, self-driven and proactive individual with a bachelor’s degree in supply chain management or related qualification.

The Ideal Applicant

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management or related field.
• Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Valid Code 08/ B driver license (manual transmission).

Job Specific Competencies

• SAP experience will be an added advantage.
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to function well in a multi-disciplinary team will be essential.
• Flexibility and willingness to adapt to operational requirements on short notice.
• Ability to interact with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written).
• Foster a culture of safe work practices and general safety awareness.
