The Ministry of Health and Social Services (MoHSS) with support from the Global Fund Grant is looking for dynamic, suitably qualified and experienced candidates to fill the following Vacancies.

To Provide Financial Management support and advisory services to the Program Managers; this involves dissemination of financial information, budget updates and cash forecasting required by the Program Managers in their endeavour to contribute to the achievements of objectives and targets in the fight against HIV/AIDS. Tuberculosis and Malaria in Namibia. To provide supervisory leadership and oversight functions to the Financial Management Framework of the Global Fund Grant along internationally accepted accounting standards and General Acceptable Accounting Principle (GAAP) whilst ensuring efficient & effective Grant financial Management and overall financial accountability.

Appointment Requirements:

•An Appropriate Diploma at NQA L6 Majoring in Accounting plus, minimum of Five (5) years appropriate experience as Senior Accountant with working experience on Oracle Fusion, Pastel or any other accounting software. Knowledge and experience with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS). International Public Sector Accounting Standards (IPSAS) or other Generally Acceptable Accounting Practice (GAAP) and
•Preference will be given to applicants with a B Degree or equivalent at NQF L7 majoring in Accounting Management, with Five (5) years appropriate experience as Senior Accountant working experience on Oracle Fusion. Pastel or any other accounting software. Knowledge and experience with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), international Public Sector Accounting Standards (IPSAS) or other Generally Acceptable Accounting Practice (GAAP)
•Preference will also be given to applicants with membership of Professional Accounting Body
