Purpose:
To provide specialist advice and support in financial and non-financial risk areas, enabling the provision of sound risk services
Key Responsibilities
• Accountable for the improvement of quality, service, and work outputs, continuously recommending improvements.
• Plan for the organisation of work outputs and process improvement activities in light of a specific situational context related to the area of specialisation,
• Pro-actively identify risk-related problems, determine cause and effect, and recommend the best option to implement corrective action based on previous experience.
• Recommend and advise on nsk requirements that need to be embedded in the development of area specific processes.
• Provide guidelines and oversight to ensure the identification and assessment of business risk in order to create awareness and manage risk accordingly
• Identify, diagnose, and recommend improvements, and provide risk advice and support, ensuring that solutions are appropriate and effective.
• Keep abreast of regulation and industry developments to advise and guide on key risk-related issues enabling informed decision-making
• Plan for effective organisational management with the required measurements to monitor performance effectiveness.
• Align operations with strategic direction for Liberty Life Namibia.
• Establish and maintain key business relationships,
• Ensure the implementation of corporate governance, compliance, and ethics policies
• Drive customer centricity.
• Integrate and drive human resource strategies, and
• Promoting the Liberty brand and values
Minimum Experience:
3-5 years’ experience in a similar environment, of which 1 -2 years should be at a supervisory or management level.
Education:
A 3-year bachelor’s degree in business, commerce, and management studies, or equivalent, a Master of
Business Administration, would be an advantage.
