Position 1x Principal Customs Officer: Clearance, Enforcement and Scanner Operations – D1 (Lüderitz)
Director Supervisor Regional Manager: Southern Region
Job Purpose
To supervise the clearance and enforcement of Excisable goods. To supervise the clearance, enforcement, and operational activities at the harbour, Scanner Operations, Namport Container and Main gates, State warehouse, coordination of roadblocks and clean-up operations, Inward and Outward clearance of vessels, coordination of joint inspection on physical examination of containers, EPZ Regime.
Minimum Requirements
Qualifications:
A B-degree in Customs Administration / International Trade / Business Administration / Commerce / Excise Management / Law (NQF 7).
Minimum Experience:
Eight (8) years relevant experience with five (5) years on supervisory level.
