DOCUMENT CONTROLLER – Windhoek Consulting Engineers (PTY) Ltd

Windhoek Consulting Engineers (PTY) Ltd has a vacancy for a Document Controller, experienced in Document Control and Business Administration. The position is site-based.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Manage the intake, handling, and storage of project documentation for contract stakeholders and parties.
Utilize document management software for efficient upload, retrieval, and storage of documents.
Ensure compliance with contract requirements in the storage and handling of documentation.
Generate reports related to document management activities for stakeholders.
Communicate effectively with relevant parties regarding document status, updates, and retrieval processes.
Ensure that document storage practices align with contract specifications and requirements.
Implement and uphold document management procedures to meet contractual obligations.
Control and monitor access to documents, limiting retrieval to authorized personnel.
Implement security measures within document management software to safeguard sensitive information.
Identify opportunities for process enhancement in document management.
Implement improvements to increase efficiency, accuracy, and overall effectiveness in handling project documentation.

Qualifications and Requirements:

Grade 12.
Certification as Business Administrator.
At least 3 – 5 years of relevant experience in a similar environment.
Exceptional communication, report writing, and computer skills.
Valid Driver’s License preferred.
