TRAVEL CONSULTANT – Namibia Tours & Safaris

Description
We are currently looking for a full-time Travel Consultant Assistant to work with and assist a Senior Travel Consultant in daily duties.

The role is to work closely with a Senior Travel Expert to aid them with organisation, admin and assistance of client and supplier related tasks in order to uphold the high standard of service excellence at Namibia Tours & Safaris. This is a permanent position to be based at our head office in Swakopmund.

Ideal Candidate Requirements:
Have experience in an industry related position
Strong administrative and organisational skills
Experience working on and using industry standard travel booking programs
Ability to work as part of a team
In-depth knowledge of Namibia and southern Africa
Excellent supplier relationships
Proficient written and verbal communication skills
Key Responsibilities will include, but will not be limited to:
To assist a Senior Travel Consultant effectively and efficiently in daily tasks
To check availability and make bookings with external suppliers
To update client reservation sheets
Keep record of email communications and confirmations
Compile travel documents and client vouchers
