THE PURPOSE OF THE JOB:
The role of the Utility Person: Maintenance is to perform high quality and cost effective
planned and unplanned maintenance and repairs to infrastucture. Maintain and repair
kiosks, substations and building equipment, tool and additional duties as required.

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:
• Level 3 or N2 (Bricklayers & Plastering) or
• Level 3 or N2 (Carpentry & Joinery) or
• Level 3 or N2 (Plumbing & Sheet metal)
ADVANTAGEOUS QUALIFICATIONS:
• NESC Access or Level 1 Entry
• Electrical background will be advantageous

KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS:
• Engage with and ensure satisfaction with internal & external stakeholder
• Carry out planned and unplanned electrical maintenance on buildings & kiosks
• Comply with and implement the SHE policies and procedures
• Carry out general administration duties
• Carry out ad-hoc duties & adhere to the Erongo RED Policies and Procedures

• People and performance Management

LEVEL OF EXPERIENCE:
• Three (3) years in construction and maintenance

LICENSE REQUIRED:
• Code C1E Drivers’ License
