SALES CLERK: COUNTERSALES (A. ROSENTHAL) – Agra 290 views

The successful incumbent will be based at A. Rosenthal and report to the Branch Manager

Principal Accountabilities:

• Responsible for handling all aspects of the till
• Conduct pre-check of work station prior to commencing duty
• Comparing product description on system towards actual product
• Responsible for verifying payments on account
• Ensures accuracy of the till at all times
• Adhering to cashier procedures
• Receiving of correct cash payments for products purchased by customers
• Delivery of customer service (Being available to internal and external clients, e.g. product advice, product location, pricing)
• Ensures housekeeping and health and safety at the workstation
• Ensures that the workstation is not left unattended
• Provides assistance with cycle counting and stock taking

Qualifications & Attributes:

• Namibian citizenship
• A Grade 12 certificate
• Minimum of 3 years related experience working with arms & ammunition (strong requirement)
• Must have product knowledge pertaining to arms and ammunition (this will be tested)
• Proficiency in English
• Computer literacy (computerised point of sale)
