GENERAL WORK – B2GOLD 585 views

To ensure proper housekeeping in the plant and to assist with operational duties when requested.

 

• Keep the work area clean, neat, and orderly.
• Clean area bunds.
• Clean material spillage under conveyors and tunnels.
• Remove weeds on the premises.
• Assist operations with relevant shut jobs or duties as directed by the supervisor.
• Perform routine tasks as and when required.

• Ensure compliance with all B2Gold Safety, Health and Environmental policies and procedures
• Comply with the B2Gold Golden Rules, Code of Conduct and all Policies.
• Actively participate in safety and toolbox meetings, and conduct a monthly safety inspection of the work area based on the schedule set by Management.
• Maintain a safe working environment, and keep the assigned work area clean and tidy.
• Report all unsafe acts and conditions, injuries, accidents, equipment damage and near-miss incidents to the supervisor promptly.
• Wear and maintain the PPE appropriate to the task and area while on duty.

 

 

• Minimum Grade 10 (NQF 2).
• Experience in a mining environment will be an advantage.
• Valid Code B driver’s license.
