Key Performance Areas
– Prepare Internal Requisition Orders from various business units
– Receive, store and issue goods
– Manage stock levels and give out the supplies from the stock
– Prepare the inventories and maintain the stock records, using computerized systems for entering the records
– Check the supply invoices with the purchase orders
– Prepare the reports on inventories adjustments done (damaged, spoiled, etc)
– Maintain record of receipts and issuance of items dispatched from the warehouse
– Do stock taking and reconcile physical stock with the stock in the system
– Supervise the offloading process, the subsequent arrangement of merchandise, material, etc., and consignment
so that it can be accessed and identified easily.
– Establish and maintain suitable record system / database
– Record and follow-up on all incoming mail / correspondence / written enquires
– Keep inventory / stock records and database up to date
– Retrieve and disseminate information from record system as when required.
– Provide input in the evaluation and review of existing internal controls and procedures and
Make suggestions for improvement as business processes change.
Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in Procurement / Supply Chain / Logistics and/or Materials Management at (NQF 7).
Minimum Experience: Three (3) years’ relevant experience, in areas of inventory, stores / stock control.
Preference will be given to candidates with experience gained in Public Sector environment of Inventory/
Stores/ Issuing thereof.
Professional Registration: A valid Driver’s License

must be evaluated by the Namibia Qualifications Authority (NQA) and proof of evaluation of qualification should be attached.
• Certified copies of Identity Documents and all other supporting documents.
NB: Preference shall be given to Namibian Citizens
Successful Candidates will be required to provide Proof of No Criminal Record (Certificate of Conduct).
