PROCUREMENT OFFICER

The Game Products Trust Fund (GPTF) is inviting applications from qualified and experienced individuals (Namibian nationals) to apply for the position of Procurement Officer

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Conduct and manage all the procurement activities of the GPTF
Ensure timely procurement of goods, services and works as required by the GPTF
Track and report key functional metrics to reduce expenses and improve effectiveness
Ensure compliance to the Namibian Public Procurement Act, 2015
Perform risk management for supply contracts and agreements
Develop and maintain a list of prequalified suppliers that will be used to provide goods and services as they are required
Carryout secretarial duties for the Procurement and Bid Evaluation Committees
Prepare the annual procurement plans for the GPTF
Perform any other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Fund Manager

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

A Bachelor’s degree from a recognized University in Procurement or Supply Chain Management
A minimum of three (3) years working experience in the area of public procurement and any related field Extensive knowledge of the Namibian Public Procurement Act, 2015 and Public Procurement Regulations Knowledge of the e-procurement system

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

REMUNERATIONS AND BENEFITS

The GPTF will offer a cost to company salary package between N$ 420,000 – N$ 520,000
Medical aid, Pension and Social Security contributions
