CENSUS IT VACANCIES

The Namibia Statistics Agency (NSA) was established in terms of Statistics Act No. 9 of 2011. The NSA is mandated, among others, to constitute the central statistical authority of the state and to collect, produce, analyse and disseminate official statistics in Namibia.

The NSA would like to invite suitable applicants who meet the requirements to apply for the temporary fieldwork vacancies under the 2023 Population and Housing Census and Post Enumeration Survey (PES) as indicated below.

Please take note that these are temporary positions and people who are currently employed & full time students/learners will not be considered

Please note that the below positions require the frequent use of a personal computer. Therefore, bringing your own laptop will be an added advantage.

Position: National IT Field Technicians x 6 (Census = 4 & PES = 2)

Note: The 2023 Population and Housing Census field work will be carried out from 18 September until 03 November 2023 and some of the above positions will be filled earlier than the Census field work. Successful candidates will be informed on whether they have been selected for Census or PES. Those to be selected for PES will start after Census field work.
