To do and certify maintenance work on condition that the authorized person has a type rating according to ATA Spec. 104 Level 3.
All tasks are performed in accordance with valid technical documentation and Iqmove including revisions of technical documentations/the technical library to ensure conformity with EASA regulations.
The MCT technician will have supervisory responsibility over MM-Int, MCM and MT MM2 qualified mechanics/technicians.
The MCT will manage the maintenance operation and will perform all necessary steps to assure the operation according to EASA standards.
Administrative duties and Responsibilities:
During the shift, he/she deputizes for the Technical Manager in all concerns which may arise during the course of station work, and which require an immediate decision.
He/she supervises all technical and operational aspects at the station and coordinates the work routines with internal and external parties incl. crews.
He/she manages the entire technical handling and coordinates all flights allocated t his/her shift with the aim to ensure safety, punctuality and an appropriate customer service.
He/she has the technical and disciplinary guidance of subordinate employees incl. induction and instruction of employees.
He/she coaches candidates to ensure proper development of all team members.
He/she performs budget planning and control for respective cost center in cooperation with the respective regional management.
Requirements:
A-level standard of education as well as several years of work experience. EASA PART 66 Type Training Level 3 – Line & Base Maintenance B1.1 or B2- Theoretical and practical element.
Successfully passed EASA Part 145 Assessment
Successfully passed “EASA Part 66 CAT B*2-/EASA Part 145 MCT examination.
Good knowledge of business management including IT skills.
- Fluent knowledge of English, both written and spoken.
Knowledge of German is desired.
Systematic and structured working methods and ability to work on own initiative.
Should be able to work shifts and have the ability to take on physical and mental stress.
Have extensive team and dialogue skills.
- Should have good linguistic skills.
Have the ability to assert himself/herself and to carry out instructions.
Have the ability to instruct employees, personnel management and have motivational skills.
Have a high sense of responsibility and social competence.
- Have fundamentals in accounting.
Have fundamentals in interpersonal communication skills.
- Should have a valid driving license.
Should have a valid passport.
Other prerequisites:
Supervision of MM-lntand Cat A Maintenance mechanicsand MT MM2 Perform personal evaluations of subordinates and develop respective KPI’s.
To arrange and authorize trainings with Lufthansa technical training school and external provider.
To authorize the payment of incoming invoices regarding the maintenance line stations.
To arrange and authorize duty travel orders within the own area of the line station.
To perform all remaining duties assigned/delegated by the TM.
