Digital & Technology Manager

Namibia Breweries Limited has a new vacancy, on executive level, reporting into the Managing Director. This role leads the Digital & Technology (D&T) department at Namibia Breweries Limited.

PURPOSE OF ROLE:

To define and implement Namibia Breweries Limited GIS strategy in alignment with the Global GIS strategy and business strategy, in-order-to to support local business ambition and agenda. The role is also responsible for advising on external trends and developments and contextualizing those into relevant business insights.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Develop the businesss Digital & Technology strategy and operational plan.
• Ensure the execution of the yearly Digital & Transformation plans (including projects) as well as management of the operational processes and activities by the relevant stakeholders.
• Drive and lead the business change to enable a future fit company shaping and enabling the business of tomorrow and building new capabilities.
• Advise and facilitate the management of IT policy/business development/technology development and project implementation within the business.
• Translate business developments and objectives into IT improvement opportunities, and initiate development projects based on business needs.
• Define requirements and formulate service level agreements (SLA) with internal and external parties.
• Act as a valuable business partner by building and maintaining relationships with internal customers and relevant parties.
• Gather, interpret, and identify IT developments and trends within the business/market and recommend measures to the process owner if necessary.
• Developing and maintaining a knowledge management network regarding IT and business developments.
• Enable business growth through data analysis and provide critical insights.
• Prepare annual department budget and manage Digital & Transformation Opex and Capital budgets.
• Lead the department and manage employees including recruitment, performance management and career development.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Masters degree in Information, Communication & Technology; Digital; Technology; IT or related field
• 8-12 years of relevant Digital, IT or Technology experience of which 3 to 5 years should be on an executive level.
• Project management qualification or equivalent work experience
• Experience designing and launching digital platforms.
• Proven track record in developing and driving Digital & Technology strategies.
• Demonstrated ability to develop world-class talent; and construct a team to deliver operational excellence.
