About Us

Botho University Namibia is an international campus of Botho University Botswana. Botho University (BU) operates from Mandume Ndemufayo Street, Maroela Mall in Ongwediva. In the initial stages BU offered five qualifications. The portfolio of programmes has been increased due to the implementation of the University’s growth strategies. The programmes currently offered are in the key fields of Accounting, Business, Computing, and Health.

Job Responsibilities

Must be able to teach Business Management, Audit and Assurance, Financial
Reporting, Performance Management, Financial Management, Advanced
Performance Management. Strategic Business Reporting and Advanced Auditing.

Ability to inspire and motivate students.
Excellent communication and presentation skills with a good command of English
Good Organizational skills.
Ability to coordinate and mentor projects and internships for students including liaison with local Science Institutions and the Business industry.
Maintain student records and execute various day-to-day administrative responsibilities involved with teaching.
Continuously upgrade skills through self-study and work with peers.
Be a constructive member of the Botho University team.
Research and publishing.

Qualifications and Experience Required:

A master’s degree in business /Accounting,
Ph.D. in Business or a related discipline will be an added advantage.
Minimum of three (3) years experience of teaching in a tertiary institution.
