Description of Duties:

1. Overseeing and coordinating bricklaying activities on construction projects.
2. Ensuring that bricklaying activities meet quality standards and project specifications.
3. Estimating material needs and ensuring the timely delivery of materials to the job site.
4. Assigning tasks to bricklaying personnel and supervising their work.
5. Maintaining records and reports related to bricklaying activities.
6. Training and mentoring bricklaying personnel to ensure they have the necessary knowledge and skills to perform their job duties effectively.
7. Collaborating with other construction professionals to identify and address bricklaying-related issues.

Qualifications:

1. A high school diploma or equivalent is required, and a post-secondary education in bricklaying or a related field is preferred.
2. A minimum of 6 years of experience as a bricklayer is required, and prior experience in a supervisory or leadership role is preferred. Be able to independently lead and manage a general bricklaying construction team of above 15 people to complete the construction work arranged by the project in time.
3. Be responsible for daily Work arrangements, management of worker efficiency is not less than Namibia construction quota standards.
4. Knowledge of bricklaying techniques, materials, and tools is required.
5. The ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings is necessary. Control of construction quality in line with drawing specifications
6. Strong communication and leadership skills are required. Getting good safety awareness and quality awareness, obeying project work arrangements, no bad habits, no criminal record.
