Northern Graphite Corporation (“NGC”) (An equal opportunity employer) is seeking the services
of a competent Financial Controller who will be responsible for managing the overall financial planning,
budgeting, procurement, investment, risk management and ICT functions to ensure that they contribute
effectively and efficiently toward achieving NGC objectives and strategies.

Job Responsibilities:

• Oversee fiscal activity, including budgeting, reporting, and auditing
• Identify and address financial risks and opportunities
• Establish and oversee procurement processes and practices
• Establish, review and monitor internal controls
• Guide and supervise Finance, Supply Chain and IT activities and related procedures

Job requirements:

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance or a related field from an accredited tertiary
institution.
• Seven (7) years of management experience in a similar role.
• Knowledge of financial management and reporting requirements in the mining industry will be
an added advantage.
• Strong financial background with good organizational and coordination skills.
• Familiarity with Namibian VAT and Income Tax rules and requirements
• Experience of managing or leading a Finance Department or Division (or a demonstrable
aptitude for this work) will be an added advantage.
• Personal qualities of integrity, credibility and dedication to the mission of NGC
• Highly proficient in using Microsoft productivity tools (Excel, Word, Outlook, Powerpoint &
Sharepoint).
• Ability to work in a rapid-paced environment to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
• Must have a valid code of conduct not older than 3 months (Police Clearance)
• Valid BE driver’s license
