Job Description

Undertake an MSc in veterinary medicine (Veterinary Public Health)
Develop veterinary skills specifically in Veterinary Public Health through “on-the-job training” at the School of Veterinary Medicine
Assist with the day-to-day lecturing and tutorials and VPH clinical rotations in the School of Veterinary Medicine
Assist with practical and research work, both on and off-site, for service delivery and student training
Assist with the development of teaching material
Assist with practical training of BVM undergraduates in Veterinary Public Health

Requirements

A veterinarian with a BVM (or equivalent) in veterinary medicine/science and demonstrable interest/ experience in Veterinary Public Health. Unconditional Registration as a veterinarian with the Namibian Veterinary Council, alternatively, qualification(s) should enable the candidate to be immediately registered with the Namibian Veterinary Council.
