2X ASSISTANT ACCOUNTANT DEBT
FINANCE DEPARTMENT

Applications are hereby invited from suitably qualified persons to fill the above-mentioned vacancy.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent qualification on NQF Level 7
⦁ Two (2) years of relevant experience in a similar environment, revenue control.
Skills required in Financial accounting systems. Computer literacy, Knowledge of the Finstel program, Sound knowledge of debt, Collection procedures, Financial Planning, Time Management, Customer Care, and Communication skills.
PRIMARY FUNCTIONS
⦁ Print all group accounts and liaise for prompt payment;
⦁ Report all discrepancies in respect to the water supply to the Revenue Office;
Collect all relevant data from the system for debt collection purposes;
Prepare of agreements and take the necessary actions against defaulting clients;
⦁ Prepare all documents for court purposes;
Preparation of letters of demand for an outstanding debt and have them delivered;
Attending meetings with the lawyers and advocates with respect to clients who have been handed over to an attorney;
⦁ Liaise with the revenue office on any account adjustments before cut-off;
Exercise the reconnection process in terms of the Credit Control Policy.
REMUNERATION AND BENEFIT
A competitive remuneration package that includes a basic salary of N$193,357.07pa. annual and sick leave, Pension Fund (21.7% Council contribution), Medical Aid (85%/15%), 13th Cheque, Housing Allowance (40% of basic salary if you own a house with a mortgage bond and 20% if you do not own a house)
