Senior Manager: Human Resources (Member of the Executive Team)

MAIN PURPOSE OF THE JOB AND KEY OUTPUTS:
The Human Resource Manager provides Human Resource (HR) leadership to the NDTC through the development, monitoring and implementation of a fit for purpose Human Resource Strategy, in a processing organization. The Job holder will provide support to the business by developing appropriate HR business plans aligned to the Company’s overall strategy, policies, procedures, systems and practices geared towards promoting a conducive environment that will attract, develop, motivate, reward and retain suitably qualified employees to ensure that NDTC has the capacity to achieve its organizational and business objectives and meet shareholder and customer expectations, activities, ensuring adherence to Group standards, policies and procedures.
THE MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE SENIOR MANAGER: HUMAN RESOURCES WILL BE AS FOLLOWS:
⦁ HR Leadership and strategic perspective
⦁ Lead and manage the HR function
⦁ Corporate governance and legislative compliance
⦁ Budgeting and Cost Benefit measures
⦁ Safety. Health, and Environment
⦁ Organisational Effectiveness
⦁ Remuneration & Reward
⦁ Talent acquisition and retention
⦁ Employee Wellness
⦁ Employee Relations
⦁ Learning and Development
⦁ Stakeholder relationships and engagements
⦁ Change Management
THE PROSPECTIVE APPLICANTS SHOULD COMPLY WITH THE FOLLOWING CRITERIA:
⦁ Undergraduate qualification (Bachelor / Honours Bachelor’s degree or equivalent) In an HR field
⦁ Minimum ten (10) years of relevant post-qualification experience of which five (5) must have been at senior management level.
⦁ Proven track record of practical experience in a Senior HR role, while delivering results in a pressurized, complex and demanding environment
⦁ Experience In all HR fields at a strategic level, organizational effectiveness, change management and specifically Employee Relations disciplines
⦁ Experience of working with a diverse workforce
⦁ Strategic HR Management exposure
⦁ Demonstrated understanding of current trends in HR and business strategy
⦁ People Management skills
