We are seeking a Registered Nurse for our Catheterisation Laboratory, who excels in management, leadership, budgetary management skills, and the ability to motivate staff. The incumbent needs to have well-developed organizational, interpersonal, decision-making, and conflict-resolution skills.
KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS:
The incumbent will be responsible and accountable for:
⦁ Quality Patient Care, service excellence, and continuous quality improvement;
⦁ Comprehensive Patient Care Audits;
⦁ Overall Nursing Management of Patient;
⦁ Risk and Asset Management;
⦁ Adherence to Nursing policies, procedures and standards;
⦁ Effective communication with Medical Practitioners and Hospital Management on nursing activities;
⦁ Review patient care to ensure it meets legal, ethical, updated clinical, and safety standards.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
⦁ A degree/diploma in general nursing and midwifery.
⦁ A post-graduate Diploma in Operating Theatre will be an added advantage.
⦁ Registered with the HPCNA.
⦁ 5 years’ experience as a Registered Nurse preferably in a Theatre / Catheterisation laboratory
environment.
