What will you do?
The main focus will be updating the general ledger for Sanlam Investments, the Unlisted Investment manager, and the property companies.
What will make you successful in this role?
Process of month-end journals
Control account recons
Compliance function
Prepare bank reconciliation
Assist with queries from internal & external auditors
Annual PAYE reconciliation for SPP clients
Attend to PAYE queries from SPP clients
Submissions to the Receiver of Revenue – SPP tax returns
Procurement function
Adhoc duties
Qualification and Experience
Grade 12 or Equivalent (mathematics and/or accounting as subjects).
A degree or Diploma in the financial field is required.
A minimum of 2 years of working experience in a financial environment.
Accounting and Mathematical Skills.
Excellent English (verbal & written) language skills; and/or additional local Namibian language will be a competitive advantage, etc.

Microsoft Office; Company’s software.
Knowledge and Skills
Recording of financial Transactions
Reconciliations and query resolution
Compliance with SOP’s and SLA’s
Authorisation of transactions within mandates
