JOB PURPOSE

Supervise and coordinate berth activities in a safe and efficient manner.

KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS

Responsible for cargo (CCU, basket, skips, half heights, tanks, etc.) certificates verification: o OCC (Offshore Container Certificate) or COC (Certificate of conformance).
OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturers) Certificates for lifting set and shackles for tractability to Manufacturer or (EC Declaration of Conformity) from a recognized supplier.
Third-Party inspection certificates for CCU/Slings/Shackles/Ferrules.
Four yearly NDT inspection reports for CCU lifting points.
⦁ Responsible to verify the packing list of each unit to be discharged or loaded out from and to the Vessel as per instructions.
⦁ Ensures that good safety standards are maintained for all operations at berth.
⦁ Prepare all unit certification checks prior to discharging or loading out from/to the Vessel.
⦁ Prepare discharge and load-out list as per requests received.
⦁ Segregate all loads to be discharged from the Vessel on the quayside for collection.
⦁ Coordinate with HSE and Logistics representatives about all units going for and from Waste management (treatment/cleaning).
⦁ Coordinate with Lifting Supervisor prior to loading the Vessel about deck planning.
⦁ Update unit register daily.
⦁ Utilizes internal program to plan, coordinate and follow all movements of material and products, on the jetty, to/from the Vessels.
⦁ Be responsible for IMDG / MARPOL / SOLAS documentation
⦁ Implement corrective actions when required.

CORE REQUIREMENTS

⦁ Strong Educational Background
⦁ Minimum 5 years of O&G operational experience
⦁ HSE literate and training to O&G industry standards
⦁ High level of reporting & analytics
⦁ Microsoft Office literate
