The Council offers the following benefit for the position:
Salary Scale: N$ 190 210.16 – N$ 195 916.44
Housing allowance: 20% of monthly salary
Housing Subsidy: 40 % of monthly salary, payable only upon submission of bond
registration certificate
Transport allowance: N$ 7 704.00 per annum
13th Cheque: 13th Cheque
Medical Aid: 85% Council Contributions
Pension: 21.7% Council Contributions
The successful candidate shall be responsible for:
To provide an administrative support function to the councilors, the smooth functioning of all Management committees and Council meetings as per the Local Authority Act.

Preparation of agendas
Annual Management and Council Meetings
Any other duties as determined by Local Authority
Minimum requirements:
Grade 12 plus a three-year tertiary qualification in Public Management, Business Administration, or Communications
Two (2) years of working experience of which Local Authority will serve as an added advantage
Good Communication skills and interpersonal skills
Knowledge of Local Authorities Act, Fluent in English
Analytic skills and computer literacy. Time management, Planning skills & Self-starting initiative
Must be a Namibian citizen
Must have a valid driver License code B
